The Town of Beaux Arts Village is a hidden gem in the Pacific Northwest.

And our goal is to keep that gem shining bright. The Western Academy of Beaux Arts is the community organization at the heart of Beaux Arts Village.

Who are we?

WABA is a non-profit corporation that owns, administers and maintains the common spaces in Beaux Arts Village including our cherished 1,100 feet of beautiful Lake Washington shoreline. This waterfront area includes a beach, boat moorage, picnic ares, a tennis/pickle ball/basketball court and the surrounding woodlands.

Who can join?

All property owners in the town of Beaux Arts Village are eligible for membership in WABA and to vot in WABA elections providing they are in good standing. Renters in the village my apply for guest memberships which entitle them to use the beach and common ares, but not to vote in WABA elections.

The Winter Dinner

The first event of the year is the Winter Dinner, usually conducted in January, which is both fun and functional (the annual budget is ratified and new Board members are voted in). A few drinks and a nice dinner with neighbors and friends. Past locations include the Bellevue Botanical Gardens and Carillon Point.p>

The Summer Picnic

All residents are invited to the Summer Picnic – a catered event held at the beach, usually in late July. The Summer Picnic features fun for all ages including a fishing derby, a pet parade, a pickleball tournament, the WABA olympics, a cake decorating contest, and a family camp night with S’mores!

Beaux Arts Racing Fleet (BARF)

There are perks to living so close to the water, and WABA volunteers take full advantage of this as they organize C-15 sailing races for our very own Beaux Arts Racing Fleet. Races are held each Wednesday evening during June, July, and August and a good time is always had by all!

A vibrant history

Beaux Arts Village has a vibrant history dating back to 1908 and WABA does our best to preserve that history. If you’d like to learn more and look at pictures from our archives please click here.
